STORY

This project was put together through the efforts of Sidney High Principal, Chris Arent, and teachers Tanya Lewis, Trail Editor, and Roger Gallaway, Library Media Speicalist.  It is intended as a means to preserve the rich history of Sidney High School through our yearbooks, which have always been known as "The Trail", and to share them with as many Sidney alumni, family, and friends as possible. The Trail tells the story not only of our students throughout the decades, but also of our community, and the times we lived in.

The yearbooks were scanned and digitized by Oklahoma Correctional Industries, which is a part of Oklahoma's Department of Corrections. The yearbooks were scanned from the originals, in color at 300 DPI and saved in PDF format which is considered publisher quality.

It is the intention of Sidney High School to keep this site updated, while looking for other enhancements. Special thanks to the Sidney Public Library for their assistance in providing missing yearbooks to be scanned, rounding out our collection.  If you have ideas for future enhancements, please share them us by contacting Sidney High School.
